Clans Documentation
Everything you need to launch and grow a community on Robinhood Chain.
Getting Started
Clans is a community platform for tokens on Robinhood Chain. Connect a browser wallet (MetaMask, Rabby or similar) with the Connect Wallet button — we'll prompt you to switch to Robinhood Chain automatically, and add it to your wallet if it isn't there yet. No sign-up, no password: your wallet is your account.
Once connected, set a username and profile image in Settings, then explore Communities to find projects you hold, or create your own community page.
Communities
Any project with an ERC-20 token on Robinhood Chain can create a community page: pick a unique page name, add your token contract address, description, links and artwork. Your page becomes home to your proposals, holder stats and followers.
Holder counts and token intelligence on community pages come from our own on-chain indexer, which follows every transfer of your token from the moment it was deployed.
Proposals & Voting
Community owners can raise proposals with a title, description and tags. Any holder of the community token can vote Yes, No or Abstain — votes are weighted by token balance.
Voting is gas-free: instead of an on-chain transaction, your wallet signs a message identifying the proposal and your chosen option. The server verifies that signature and reads your token balance directly from Robinhood Chain, so votes can't be forged or inflated. One vote per wallet per proposal.
Snapshot Voting
Every proposal records the chain's block number at the moment it is created — its snapshot block. Your voting power is your token balance at that block, not at the time you vote. Buying tokens after a proposal opens doesn't add voting power to it, which keeps live votes fair and resistant to manipulation.
The $CLAN Token
$CLAN is the platform token. Holders will be able to boost community pages, unlock platform features and earn rewards for active participation. Full tokenomics will be published here before launch.
