Governance
Create a proposal
Raise a vote for your community (owners only).
Only the community owner can raise proposals. Each proposal needs a signature from the owner wallet, so nobody can post governance in your community's name.
- 1On your community page, click + Create Proposal.
- 2Write a title and the proposal text. The editor supports basic formatting, and you can add tags.
- 3Submit and approve the signature request. This proves the proposal comes from the owner wallet.
💡
When a proposal is created, the current Robinhood Chain block number is stamped on it as the snapshot block. That block decides everyone's voting power for this proposal.
Writing good proposals
- ›Make the decision concrete: "Should we do X?"
- ›Say what happens on Yes and what happens on No.
- ›Give holders enough context to vote without leaving the page.
