How voting works

Voting on Clans costs nothing and can't be faked. Instead of sending a transaction, your wallet signs a message naming the proposal and your chosen option. The platform verifies the signature and reads your voting power from the chain.

   Open a proposal and click Submit a Vote. Connect your wallet first if you haven't.

   Pick Yes, No or Abstain. Your available voting power is shown above the options.

   Approve the signature request in your wallet. It's a plain text message, not a transaction. Nothing is spent.

The rules

• ›One vote per wallet per proposal. Enforced in the database, not just the interface.
• ›Your weight is your balance at the snapshot block. See Snapshot voting.
• ›Everything is verified server-side. The signature must match your address, and your balance is read from Robinhood Chain by our servers. Nothing about your vote is taken on trust from the browser.

Results

Tallies update live on the proposal page: Yes, No and Abstain totals with percentages, weighted by tokens.
